Dr Katrina Andrews is a Senior Lecturer and Program Coordinator of the Bachelor of Counselling at the University of the Sunshine Coast (UniSC), where her work is driven by a commitment to preparing tomorrow's counselling clinicians through evidence-informed pedagogy. She has supported many postgraduate students through to the completion of their higher degrees.
Katrina's current research is focused on building a robust evidence base for online therapy — including the growing field of online group therapy — work that sits at the intersection of digital innovation and counselling practice. She is an active contributor to the national counselling research community, serving as Chair of the Counselling Research Community of Practice and Chair of the NHCPE Research Subcommittee.
